What a wonderful night!
The Rock Your Goals Brisbane workshop was such a fun event with a gorgeous group of ladies talking, laughing, eating amazing food, sharing stories, making friends and taking part in some goal rocking goodness at the Little Mountain Studio.
It was an honour to host such a caring, supportive and passionate group of women and I’m so grateful to the lovely ladies who shared the evening with me.
We talked about our hopes, our dreams, and our big, bold, beautiful visions for the future.
We set inspiring, aligned, and exciting goals together.
We bonded over shared experiences, a little silliness and delicious donuts.
Each and every one my gorgeous guests inspired me with their passion, kindness and heart, and it was an absolute privilege to goal rock with these amazing women.
In the time since the event the Rock Your Goals Workshop celebrated its first birthday!
Thinking back on that very first workshop, I remember how nervous I was. But at the Brisbane event, I felt so relaxed and present.
It’s also the first time I truly felt comfortable letting my silly side show.
Example: I announced the delicious NoDo Donuts by busting out my best MC Hammer impersonation.
It went a little something like this…
“Alright stop! Donut time!”
Followed by me doing the running man.
I never would have done that a year ago, because I’d have been worried people might think I was silly, or uncoordinated, or that it was a really dorky or dumb thing to do. But it was so amazing to just be ME. To really connect with the lovely ladies at the event and enjoy the moment.
I feel so fortunate to have shared the event with such a lovely group of ladies. To each and every one of you I say a heartfelt and huge THANK YOU.
And it would be a Rock Your Goals wrap up without three cheers for the amazing people, businesses and brands who helped make the event so special.
My heartfelt thanks go to:
- The lovely Emma at the Little Mountain Studio for the gorgeous workshop venue.
Photographer extraordinaire, Emma Newby for taking such magical photographs of the evening.
The wonderful Caroline from Wilde Flora for the stunning flowers.
Cassie and the team at Inspirationery for the luscious (and socially conscious) notebooks and for being such a generous and beautiful soul.
The gorgeous Jurlique gals for the luxurious rose hand cream.
Zoe and the magnificent team at Peppermint Magazine for the inspiring reading.
The amazing and inspiring Nat from Soak Society for the divine bath soaks.
The spectacular team at Alter Eco who not only sponsored the Brisbane event but have sponsored the Rock Your Goals Workshop National Tour! Thank you for the scrum-didily-umptious chocolate.
The lovely Mary and the beautiful team at Davroe for giving us the gift of gorgeous hair.
Cassandra and the team at Shop for Shops for the beautiful gift bags.
Ali and her incredible, generous and wonderful team at Botanica Real Food for the fresh, delicious and delectable salads and savoury tarts.
The supremely talented Kate at Nodo Donuts for the best donuts in the land. Seriously, if you’re in Brissy you HAVE to try them!
Plus, special mentions go to:
The beautiful Vanessa Vickery from Becoming Ness who was lovingly and generously my “Brisbane Girl” (aka amazing helper, venue checker, guest gift stasher and all around awesome woman).
And to the beautiful Megan Gogoll for having me stay and helping with workshop prep (including the supremely important task of donut collection).
Big love to you both.
